Student designer Aalia Maan brings something to the table one wouldn't expect from most college designers. There is a refined sense of sophistication that reverberates throughout her collection. This she calls "Renewable Elegance." Her style is cute and alluring, yet dignified.
The first piece of the collection really set sail. A nautical-inspired suit jacket and gray tailored dress shorts gave a polished, classy look, successfully complimented by the pearl necklace. This was reminiscent of such glamour brought to previous generations by ladies such as Jacqueline Kennedy and Grace Kelly.
Mixing polka dot and pinstripe Maan's second piece is perfect for work or play. This outfit speaks strong and dominant yet sleek and sexy, successfully complimenting the distinct elegant nature of the collection.
Looking fresh out of Scotland, this Aalia Maan creation is fit for any bonny lass (or lady). Beautiful red plaid envelopes this playful mini dress with a bow on the chest accompanied by another in the hair. Just darling!
The golden rule of women has been that the LBD is always a safe bet. However Aalia Mann rises above the others. From the cute neck-line (revealing just enough) down to the puffball skirt this dress demonstrates the meeting of sophistication and sex appeal. This is how it's done!
