The Chanel Resort show began two hours late as The Kaiser himself wanted to wait for the perfect sunset moment. The show took place on the Venice Lido boardwalk and left editors and attendees stiff in sun chairs, heels sinking into the sand.
The show began with black cloaked figures in tricorne hats, then a cluster of white & black nautical printed attire led to an onslaught of striped, layered pants, shirts and sweaters.

The show seemed to lack cohesiveness save for classic Chanel elegance but somehow managed to be one of my favorite Chanel shows.
