Student Community Center Workshop

On May 8th from 11 am- 3 pm at the Heller Lounge, there will be a series of student community center workshops regarding the revitalization of Lower Sproul. There has been discussions among the campus on creating a thriving Student Community Center. The two workshops will be focused on the question of what students want in the student center.

"The first workshop is intended to establish a common definition of what "student centered means" and elicit a broad range of creative ideas and input from students as stakeholders. The second workshop will provide a structure for determining the essential activities the student center should house which will help define a clear vision."

Sponsored by Beth Pianitza of UC Capital Projects, the architects creating the plans for the new student center, and the Lower Sproul Student Council, pizza and drinks will be served. BARE Magazine and all of our readers have been invited to participate and share input for the Lower Sproul (Eshleman, Chavez, King and the plaza itself) Redevel. This is a really good opportunity to place your voice in this large community and make a difference.
