For his Spring/Summer 2010 collection, Alexander Wang was inspired by someone a little unexpected, you! That's right, Wang was inspired by American college girls and athletes for this season. However, it wasn't blue and gold jerseys and running shoes walking down the runway. Wang took American athletic wear and gave it an edgy, but still slightly feminine twist. Every day basics like fleece pullovers and short day dresses are made exciting with developing trends like broad shoulders, cut-outs, knee-high socks, and exposed boy shorts. The collection is filled with neutral colors, lots of cotton and jersey accented with brown leather, lace, and even pom-poms.

One of my favorites from SS2010 so far! Absolutely in love!
