Now I've worn some pretty short shorts in my lifetime, but these past few weeks designers have been taking the short look beyond even my comfort level and have eliminated pants entirely. Marc Jacobs, Gucci, Dolce and Gabbana, Alexander Wang--all of them sent at least one pants-less look down their SS10 runway show, and while the results are well-executed, I'm still not sure if I would willingly walk out of my dorm room wearing what looks to be my underwear. It's common knowledge, however, that trends seen on the runway tend to trickle down to fast fashion stores like H&M and Forever 21, meaning pants-less bottoms (or is it really just sturdier underwear?) could very well be on its way to a store near you. Which begs the question...would you be brave enough to walk out in public with no pants on?
