V Magazine's upcoming issue in mid January is deemed to be controversial. The famous Terry Richardson shot "One Size Fits All," a new perspective on the growing awareness of photoshopping in fashion magazines.
Though the shots appear to be of the same model, one photoshopped and one not, they are quite different. Crystal Renn, author of Hungry, is the plus-size model on the right while Jacquelyn Jablonski is the the typical skinny model on the left.

I've always been a fan of fuller-figured models. There's a great site with many images of Crystal and other plus-size models here:

They're all gorgeous.
The site's forum also has thought-provoking discussions about body image and the media.
I actually think the plus-size model photos look better.
ReplyDeletethis is a cat walk, not a hippo one.
ReplyDeletei think they both look amazing. she is not a hippo everything is beautifully proportioned. there is a difference between fat and curvy. what are you talking about! it's a great campain, great styling and gives you food for thought.
ReplyDeletei think the plus size model looks better i mean the other model looks abnormal her legs are bad proportion jus look at her thighs there longer than the rest of her legs
