Take Off Your Pants, For a Good Cause

Wasn’t it the oh-so-fabulous Coco Chanel who said, “Always take one thing off before you leave the house”? In this case, consider your jeans. In the aftermath of the devastating earthquake that shook Haiti last week, people are coming together in creative ways to fund relief efforts. Cal Do Something is one such student organization that is stepping up to the plate by working with Aeropostale and campus groups nation-wide to send pairs of jeans to homeless teens in Haiti. Aeropostale has committed to match the first 100,000 collected with another 100,000 pairs of brand new jeans. The drive takes place from January 19th to February 14th; text "jeans" to 41411 to receive information on locations of drop-off sites, or stop by the Haiti Earthquake Relief event on Upper Sproul on February 5th from 11am-3pm to drop your pants.

Check out the Facebook event here.
