Tomorrow night, head over to San Francisco for an evening of panel discussion, a fashion show, and an art exhibit at the San Francisco Fashion and Merchants Alliance's Love Soiree: The Economics of Art. Listen to local fashion designers, artists, bloggers, retailers, and business owners discuss new ways to address the impact of the economic downturn on the creative industries. Moderated by Lorraine Sanders of 7x7, the panel features speakers such as Corinne Phipps of Urban Darling, Leo Madrid of Linearis Institute of Fine Art, and Blakely Bass of Residents Apparel Gallery. The fashion design showcase will include SF locals Blanche Consorti and Vintage Joy. The works of about a dozen artists like Jim Winters and Hilary Williams will also be on display.
