SF Street Style :: WonderCon 2010

Comic books, nerds, superheroes, and trekkies -- what else could there be at a comic convention? Fashion, of course! Last weekend, WonderCon visited the bay in San Francisco and attracted professional artists, cosplayers, and wanna-be superheroes. Amidst the Jokers and the dancing Stormtroopers were some elaborately and creatively dressed people, including both artists and fans.

Steampunk fashion, which is inspired by science fiction, appeared to be fairly popular at the convention.

This man, dressed fully in steampunk, was selling similar fashions in his booth.

Many costumed convention-goers handmade their own outfits.

An artist showing off her own personal fashion. I loved her bird sweater top!

  1. I totally wish I went now! Some of the fashions, especially the ones like the second guy was wearing, would translate really well into everyday fashion!
