Fall 2010 Couture :: Christian Dior

Christian Dior’s fall couture show is one of walking flowers, complete with outfits that resemble sweets that could be found in Willy Wonka’s world and headgear that looks like the plastic wrap used by florists. While I am a huge fan of floral, these flower-inspired outfits are a bit too much for me. I would rather stick with floral print than pretending my whole body is a flower. However, we must give credit to John Galliano for his blooming collection that definitely pushes boundaries. But for now I’ll keep my candy and flowers separate.
