NYC Street Style :: Williamsburg, Part 1

BARE Photographer Bernie Samson continues her journey in search of New York City street style. This time she highlights a few looks she spotted in the Bedford Avenue area in Williamsburg in Brooklyn.

Clockwise from left: Julian, Ana, and Linda.

Ana is a student and artist at the New School. She is wearing a dress from Beacon's Closet (a popular thrift store in Brooklyn), an American Apparel cardigan, vintage shoes from St. Mark's Shoe Repair, and a beret that she found. Julian is a musician. Her skirt and bag are vintage, and she is wearing a shirt from American Apparel, and shoes from Forever 21. Linda is a student at Sarah Lawrence. All of her clothes are pieces she found at the Salvation Army.

Beth is a stay-at-home mom. Her dress is by Zac Posen for Target and shoes are by Pikolinos.

Dorothea is a model. Her jacket and shoes are by Acne, and her jeans are by Cheap Monday.

Emmi is a restaurant manager. She's wearing a dress and boots from Urban Outfitters, an H&M sweater, and a J. Crew purse.

Heather is a barback. Her clothes, including her Kid Dynamite shirt, are from thrift stores, and her shoes are from Payless.
