London Fashion Week S/S 2011 :: Jaeger

I’m usually not a fan of asymmetry. Slanted hemlines and uneven collars usually make me cringe. But I absolutely loved how Jaeger London incorporated this into their line. It's clean cut, but still edgy -- keeping it away from being too preppy. Some pieces look very mod-chic and show how simple colors can actually accentuate design.

This idea of the one-sided lapel and uneven hemline definitely vamps up your average blazer, and nicely accentuates the legs (on the long blazer) and nicely divides the torso (on the smaller vest).

A major theme I see in this line is the idea of wear-and-go style, with pieces that are easily and effortlessly put together. I love the waist-belt -- I have a large collection of them myself. It’s a simple accessory that always flatters my body and ties the outfit together.

Business-chic looks good on everyone, whether you are going to a country club for brunch or going shopping in Union Square. It simply makes you feel sophisticated (even if you don’t know what fork to use).

The metallic-looking fabric brings these pieces to life!
