A few looks from Lanvin's Spring 2011 collection.
Have you heard the good news? Lanvin, the standout French brand (and also the oldest fashion brand in continuous operation) is the latest high fashion line to collaborate with H&M. The collection will hit H&M stores worldwide on November 23. Although there’s still more than a month until then, it’s a good idea to mark this date on your fashion calendar now—there’s going to be a long line outside H&M stores come late November, and you want to be at the front of that line!
In the past, H&M has worked with designers such as Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Roberto Cavalli, and Jimmy Choo, but this most recent partnership with designer Alber Elbaz of Lanvin has got us particularly excited. Why? Check out this video, in which Elbaz himself shares his sentiments about this collaboration, with an especially awesome accent.
“I thought it was a smart concept, so I say, ‘I do.’” Thank you, Alber.
Lanvin is a brand known for its technical superiority and its creative direction. Every season, Elbaz delivers beautiful cuts, draping, and volume in his clothing that has become his signature. The Spring 2011 ready-to-wear line just debuted in Paris on October 1, and showcases just those traits.

We say to Alber Elbaz, if you can bring any of that trademark gorgeousness to the collaboration with H&M, we will consider the line a success. Please, bring H&M the “luxury” as you mentioned, because we are waiting eagerly!
