Saigon Eats was just one of the local restaurants present at Taste of Berkeley on Lower Sproul.
On Tuesday, October 26th students flocked to Lower Sproul to buy their lunch at the Taste of Berkeley Food Festival, sponsored by the ASUC. Instead of getting the usual Chipotle or SF Soup Company for lunch, students expanded their pallets by tasting foods from various restaurants around Berkeley. Some of the participating restaurants included Saigon Eats, Sfoofs Woofle Café, Royal Indian Cuisine, Café Colucci, and Tara’s Organic Ice Cream. The Cal Cooking Club was also there dishing out tasty cheese fondue. The student band Lyfestile added tunes to the sunny afternoon. Missed out on Taste of Berkeley? There will be another next semester, so look out for the great opportunity to sample local restaurants.
