Naomi pairs black leather boots and a brown leather bag with her off-white dress.
While the past few days in the Bay may have been a bit blustery and necessitated a pleasantly patterned cardigan or scarf (for those from SoCal, naturally), Naomi, a second year African American Studies major, could not help but glow.
Adopting a simple off-white dress, accessorized with a brown leather purse, a clever belt, tights and Nancy Sinatra-worthy boots, Naomi looked, in her own words, “Classy yet business-y yet sexy.” After realizing she had not worn the dress in over a month and a half, Naomi eased the garb out of its winter hibernation to great avail.
A few close-ups of Naomi's accessories.
Naomi draws inspiration from “mannequins and friends,” calling the styles of New York & Company, H&M, and Charlotte Russe her wardrobe. In general, when putting her outfits together, she goes for the “glow effect,” making sure that an ensemble highlights her skin color and face. And she accomplished her goal: with a few smart earrings and hair carefully placed to highlight her scoop-neck dress and make-up, Naomi was certainly radiant.
The wind only highlighted her casual chic style, for not even Mother Nature could soften her glow.
