NYFW Fall 2011: Observations and Impressions

New York Fashion Week! Eight days jam-packed with runway shows, presentations, and... gosh, I think I'm already experiencing fashion fatigue. Since it is nearly impossible to do each designer's collection full justice, here are a few observations and impressions to help hold you over while you figure out what the heck is actually going on.

Day 1: Vena Cava
ScarJo and Natalie better bow down, because here comes the real other Boleyn girl.

Day 2: Rag & Bone

Tired of having to leave your sweaters to collect dust in the closet because the spring weather insists on making you uncomfortably warm? Well, with Rag & Bone’s ‘Shag Rug’ cardigan, now you can use your sweaters all year long! Just take the ‘Shag Rug’, lay it on the ground, and boom! Instant room upgrade. Call now, and you’ll even get the ‘Throw Blanket’ skirt for free!

Day 3: Alexander Wang

Holy #@!* there’s a giant caterpillar trying to eat my foot! Whateva, I’ll just keep walking and act as if absolutely nothing is wrong…

Day 4: Cushnie et Ochs

I’m walking into spiderwebs, so leave a message and I’ll call you baaaaack.

Day 5: Carolina Herrera

Okay, I’m ready for my Oscar/State of the Union/other-heavily-publicized-event debut! Come to me, my darlings!
