Three Super Easy Halloween Costumes

Ladies, can you believe that Halloween is right around the corner? And I know some people (ahem, like me) still haven’t picked out a costume yet! So, here are some super easy costume ideas that you can make mostly from the clothes that are already hanging in your closet.

Clark Kent: reporter by day, superhero by night.

When Superman isn’t off saving the world, he works as a reporter under the name Clark Kent. Throw a button up shirt over a superhero t-shirt and hide your secret identity with some thick-framed glasses. This idea works for almost any superhero that has a secret identity/alter ego; just substitute the Superman t-shirt for that of your favorite hero!

We can do it!

Rosie the Riveter is the subject of one of the most iconic propaganda posters to come out of World War II. Since she is so recognizable, you don’t have to get too fancy with your costume. All you need is a blue button up shirt, a bandana wrapped neatly around your head, and that iconic pose.

If you don’t have yellow flats, don’t worry, a black pair will do just fine.

A Minnie Mouse costume is basically comprised of three elements: something black, something red, and mouse ears. The ears are really the most important part; get another use of those Disneyland mouse ears or pick up a cheap pair at the drugstore.

Any other costume ideas? What are you guys going to be for Halloween? Also, don’t forget to email info@baremagazine.org for the location of BARE Magazine’s Halloween Party and Costume Competition!
